Sandy and Lynn Get Their Kicks on Route 66
Follow along as we celebrate Sandy's 66th birthday traveling the "Mother Road" from Chicago to L.A.
How we came up with the idea
Several years ago a former electrolysis patient of mine took a road trip with his wife on Route 66 to celebrate his 66th birthday. I thought it sounded like a fun way to celebrate Mom's monumental birthday as well, seven years away at that point. Initially it was to be a surprise (only telling her after we got to Chicago) but after 6 years I let the cat out of the bag. Once she was in on the secret we started researching and planning.
