We were in Litchfield last month on our way back from Burlington, Iowa. We had a nice, though expensive, lunch at the Ariston. If you are on that particular alignment of Route 66, you should go right by it.
Several years ago a former electrolysis patient of mine took a road trip with his wife on Route 66 to celebrate his 66th birthday. I thought it sounded like a fun way to celebrate Mom's monumental birthday as well, seven years away at that point. Initially it was to be a surprise (only telling her after we got to Chicago) but after 6 years I let the cat out of the bag. Once she was in on the secret we started researching and planning.
Follow along as we get our kicks! We might even see a few of you along the way!
